Join us once again on the 1st July for Justine Hart's Altogether Acoustic Jam. Turn up and take part, or just listen to the jamming! We are looking forward to another great night, giving whoever wants the opportunity the chance to play in front of a friendly local audience.
We are delighted to present an evening of words and music with Wendover born author and our dear friend Jake Arnott. Jake will be in conversation with Wendover resident and poet, Will Burns, talking about his latest novel "The Fatal Tree". With readings from this and his previous novels, accompanied by music (recorded and live). He will go on to discuss the important place music has had in his life and writing. We hope you can join us for what promises to be a very special event.
All welcome, come and test your general knowledge and have the chance of winning prizes on the night!

Mayday Bank Holiday weekend and we've got a fantastic couple of days full of live music, BBQ food and over 15 guest ales and ciders for you to sample. Hopefully, the sun will be shining too!
On Saturday playing live are Bob Collum (kinda alt-country, rock & roll and a smidgen of folk with a potent dose of guilt, a dollop of sin and a drop of salvation at 3pm) and East Lonesome Drifters (“We got both kinds of music here... we got country AND western.” a five-piece outfit that pays homage to traditional honky tonk, western swing, Bakersfield and bluegrass - 6.30pm
On Sunday The Rambling Allstar Review (Philip Rambow, Martin Belmont and Cheyne Pride Phil Rambow and Martin Belmont first crossed paths in the time remembered as Pub Rock in 1973/4. Martin was in Ducks Deluxe and Phil was the singer/songwriter with The Winkies. Martin met Cheyne Pride around 2008 while a member of Hank Wangford’s Lost Cowboys (which he still is), and has worked with her on and off since then as a duo or part of a full band. Cheyne is American by birth but a long time resident of the UK. She sings Country with a voice as clear as a mountain stream and rhythm and blues as dirty as Muddy Waters! - 3pm) and The Weathertop Preachers (Chesham's WTPs, an up-tempo acoustic duo performing classic rock, country rock and alternative rock cover tunes - 6pm)
Could be some other live music before 3pm too..
On the beer front we have local guest ales from XT, Tring, Vale and Chiltern and then some interesting stuff from further afield - Pheasantry, Wild Weather, Mad Dog, Tiny Rebel, Grey Trees, Blue Monkey, Elland and Ilkley.
Ciders from Scrumpy Wasp, Worley, Purbeck and Millwhites.
